Nat is an exceptional professional AFL player who stands out not only for his remarkable career achievements but also for his admirable leadership and community engagement. As the captain of the Fremantle Football Club, Fyfe has led his team to success, earning two Brownlow Medals as the league’s best and fairest player. Off the field, Fyfe’s commitment to philanthropy and inspiring positive change in the community has made him a beloved figure, admired for his impact both on and off the football field.

What do you believe are the most important qualities for a leader to possess?

Awareness, compassion, discipline, and vision

 

What role does goal setting play in your game preparation and mindset?

Goal setting is everything. Progressively working towards the realisation of aspirational goals unlocks a meaningful life

 

What’s a goal, professionally or personally, that you’re currently working towards?

Being a part of the first Fremantle FC premiership team.

 

If you could have a superpower for a day, what would it be and why?

Ability to heal others of their suffering

What does STRONG mean to you? [the word/feeling, not our brand]

Strong to me means knowing your own power. How to cultivate it, how to use it wisely, and how to protect it at all costs.

 

How did you discover Pilates, and what initially drew you to this form of exercise? Can you share how it has impacted your physical and mental well-being?

In 2018 I was crossing the street and a lady named Trudy stopped me and said “This may seem quite random and forward but you need to come and see me for your body and the way you move. I will teach you pilates free of charge, if you don’t like it you don’t have to continue but I’m guessing you will” 2 weeks later I tore another hamstring and not long after that I started 1 on 1 with Trudy every week. The following year was the best season of my career. 

 

What has been the most memorable moment or achievement of your athletic career so far? Why does it stand out to you?

2013 AFL Grand final. Childhood dream to play in the big dance.

2015 Brownlow.  I wanted to climb to the top of my discipline and winning the Brownlow was the recognition I’d done that
